Fuel pump failure

My 95' Prelude conked out this morning while I was pulling away from a station, and then would not restart. A mechanic tested everything and deduced that the fuel pump has potentially failed, saying that it is clicking, but no fuel is getting through to start the ignition.

A couple of weeks ago my horn stopped working, which i guess is unrelated, unless anyone knows otherwise??

Anyway, he said fuses etc are okay, so it's a mystery until the garage take a look at the fuel pump.

It could be your fuel pump but it could be your main relay or even something simple like the fuel filter. I would try to start the car and if it tries to start and then kinda chokes and dies within a second or 2, like it's not getting fuel, flick the main relay under your dash on the driver side with your fingers as hard as you can and see if it starts then. If it doesn't start then it is either really bad or your problem lies somewhere else like your fuel filter or pump. I also heard that when you go to start your car the main relay will click three times, so if there is no clicking coming from it, that could be another way to tell that it needs to be replaced.
