I am having a problem with my fuel guage. Sometimes it reads a half a tank and sometimes it reads an empty tank. It is always giving me false readouts. It seems whenever my tank is above a half a tank, that the readings are correct. Is there any way that I could fix this issue?

They do all that on purpose so people don't run out of gas. They also make it stay on full for a long time so you think you are getting better gas mileage. The gauge is more inaccurate at the end because the gas is sloshing around.

You will have to remove the float assy in the tank and inspect it.
This is an issue with most Hondas, you might want to replace the sender in the tank. When I worked at a honda dealer, we were always replacing the fuel gauge sending units...

Is it hard to get to the sender in the tank? I really would like to get it working in good condition.
