Fuel Filter Or What?

Alright, im 17 and i have a 93' prelude si 2.2L manual:
this is my first car, haha you got to love preludes but this one is giving me trouble
i dont wanna have to sell it but it has a lot of details, one of which might be the fuel filter.. i think
the problem is that the car starts in the morning fine!
but wen i go to work and i leave it in the sun for 6-8 hours the car wont start
it just sounds like rrrtktktktktk (you get me?) like its about to start but it doesnt get there...
idk what to think, i just know theres a problem
so if you guys could help me out... cuz i love this car

By that I will assume that you mean the car cranks but doesn't start. Turn the key to the "ON" position, and listen for the fuel pump to prime. If you don't hear it, then your main relay needs fixed/replaced. Start with that.

Sounds like main relay. Push-starting works well.
