Fuel delivery problems?

Hey guys. I've been browsing these forums for awhile, finally I've reached a problem I can't fix. Btw, these forums are great. I've been able to search around and find a lot of fixes to issues I have with my car.

I drive an accord with an h22a out of a '95 Prelude. Hope you guys don't hate on me too much much :P I kinda figured this would probably be the best place to ask though(since you guys work with these motors everyday).

Well anyways, here's my issue. When I go out to drive the car runs fine, pulls hard etc. But the problem is that when I shut off the car, it doesn't want to start again right away. It will usually start once I try, but then just sputter to a halt. Then, when I try to start it again, it turns over but won't start. But if I wait 10 minutes and start it, she'll run fine. I think maybe this is temperature related? I'm not quite sure. I have no vacuum leaks, full tank of gas, full oil, good spark etc. And I run 91 octane 24/7.

I also removed my PS pump, which caused a lot of problems. I have the hoses pugged and tied off hidden in the engine bay. I removed the PS because after replacing the pump 3 times it would still make loud noises and barely assist in turning the car. Could this be related? Did I forget to do something?

I'm not sure if this will help, but the car has pretty much everything bolt on that you can do without owning a shop. Intake ignition exhaust etc, stock internals.

Today I'm going to replace the plugs and clean up the battery terminals - probably not related but what the hell

I'm really hoping I can get some good advice because at this point I'm completely confused and I have no idea what to do next.

Thanks guys!

Might be the relay for the fuel pump.

I was thinking that too.

I just replaced the fuel filter today and it seams to be running alright. I'll update this thread if the problem persists.

Was it hot outside today in Ft. Collins? Main relay issues are usually worse when it's hot out.

Blistering.

Like, 100's. Which is hot in CO, IMO.

It does tend to act up when it's hot. I'll have to take a look at that relay. Time to break out the Helmes

Ok. Stupid question. In the attached picture, that cap is covering up an open hole.

WTF is that thing? I capped it off because I wasn't sure what it was but it seams like it would be important.

what up.. i had a friend with a DA with the exact same problem.. i thought it might have been a bad dizzy but it turned out to be bad injectors.. check for spark first if you get good spark then it wont be the dizzy.. tell someone to start the car and rev it to 2500 + RPM.. while he does that take off the plug wires one by one.. with my friends car we noticed no difference when he took off the plug wires.. the car ran fine with only 1 wire.. wich led us to believe the injectors were bad.. i switched my injectors with his and the thing fired right up and ran like a champ
