Fuel Cut Off Launch Techniques???? - Honda Prelude Forum

Ive been reeding that u should rev all the way to 8k but i think my fuel cut off is at 7k once i pass 7 i feel the car lose power

so my question is. is this normal can i change the fuel cut off is it only my car and i was wondering what some of you use in launch techiniques for this generation because all the ones i read are for fifth gen. Thanks any info is appreciated.

why would you launch at 8k? try different revvs....probably between 4 and 6ish

I dont mean i launch at 8k i usually launch at around 3k but ive read to hold the gear until 8k but i fel that once i hit 7k my car looses power

youd have to get your car dyno'd to see where the powerband ends.....

here's some info

your car is limited to 7600 rpms. thats how off your tach needle is
