A week or so back the hole where the rod that pulls the lever to open the door on the outside door handle wore out and the rod would no longer stay making the outside door handle no longer work. I finally get a new one and after installing it things aren't working right. Whenever I lock the door it gets stuck in the locked position as if someone was pulling the handle and when I pull the inside handle the outside handle flips up when it shouldn't move at all. I installed the new one exactly how the old came out but the rods seem too tight and there's like almost no room to work inside of the door and its hard to see all of whats going on in there. Has anyone had any of these problems before? I'm sure it could be a problem on just about any car since they all use the same pull-rod system. Any help is greatly appreciated since I did a quick few google searches and came up totally empty handed.
