Front Sway Bar

Hey everyone, I have a question regarding handling characteristics. I have a 92 Prelude S with an F22A, stock 185/65 series 14" tires and stock suspension. I am not all that impressed with the car's handling capabilities (I find it pushes (understeers) in hard cornering). I was just wondering if anyone has tried removing (or simply unbolting) the front stabilizer to improve bite in the front tires. Apologies if this has already been discussed, I did a little search and couldn't find any satisfactory info.

Thanks.

You'd probably get better results by leaving it in and replacing the rear with a thicker one, your way sounds like it would cause more body roll.

Sorry for the double post.

Won't happen again.

I wish I had the cheese for a big rear sway bar. If I had money for suspension/chassis upgrades I'd be all over them.

This is just a free experiment I figured I'd try. Pretty easily reversible. I eventually want a koni/eibach setup or something similar (hopefully negating the need for a big rear sway bar ), but for the time being I have to settle on (shudder) stabilizer removal.

Thanks for the reply
