Front Si Brake Pads

I still have the OEM Honda ones, and just replaced the back ones with the cheap autozone lifetime warranty kind. The fronts i want to get some "good" pads for because they do most of the stopping. What are some good, but not super expensive pads? Autozone carbon composite pads? (lifetime warranty too ) AEM is a given, but how much?

Well, i guess that would work. They need to make the "Search" red instead of the green. But atleast they made it stand out this time for dumb@sses like me!

I would recommend crossed drilled rotors and OEM pads. My car stops so much better now.

cross drilled rotors have a tendency to crack. I have seen numerous preludes with cracked drilled rotors. I went with slotted. I'm sure the best rotor would be a blank. They sure do look good though.

thats odd since crossed drill rotors dont help the car stop any faster. they are supposed to keep the rotor cooler for less fade.

maybe it is due to upgrading parts

Usually when people replace their brakes they are in need of brake service. So the added stopping power is very noticeable. Drilling/slotting rotors decreases rotor to pad contact. It is surface area that stops you faster.

so, its the wear of parts......

saying that if you notice A LOT more stopping power with slotted/drilled rotors, then your old brakes were just sh!t?

yup it's direct, the only thing you'll have to do is add/bleed the brake fluid after since you are actually swapping th brake line to the new calipers. PM me and I'll give you paypal info.

Actually I can send you the entire 4th gen knuckle for a little more...that will give you the entire assembly including some wheel bearings incase yours ever go.
