Are the front lower control arm ball joints replaceable?

Stupid nut won't come off the the stud and now it's all fuxored....even the stud. Honda nuts and bolts suck huge gigantic balls I swear!!!!!

Honda does not sell the lower balljoint. You have to buy the lower control arm from honda if you want genuine honda. They do sell OEm balljoints however.

Actually if you want OEM Honda lower ball joint you need to buy the knuckle not the lower arm.

yes the spindle/knuckle has the ball joint on it. if the stud is turning with the nut on the end remember the ball joint is the stud so it will turn if its not pressed firmly in the lower arm. try having someone push down hard on the knuckle while u try to loosen the nut, i find this works well in this situation. This will force the stud into the lower arm tighter meaning u should be able to get the nut off. Unless u already separated the lower arm and i then i wouldnt know why this is a problem.

The ball joint is replaceable. You can buy a new one from NAPA. It is pressed in though, so you may need to pull the arm off to have the new one pressed in and/or the old one taken out.
