I am having trouble getting the driver side front lower ball joint apart. I have a pitman arm puller and a pickle fork separater-thingy. I can't get the thing to pop loose. I spent 2 hours on it. The arm puller worked like magic before. Any suggestions? Or should I just remove the whole knuckle? this is negatively impacting h23 removal...which, btw, is a PAIN IN THE BUTT

fork separater, and 3 pound sledge hammer....... I just had to pop my lower ball joints to remove the axles for a transmission replacement...... it might take a few good solid hits to drop it but it will come loose. the pain in the ass is getting the ball joint back together which is still something I'm trying to figure out.

The pickle fork may break the boot. If its already torn and you have a replacement lower ball joint, just jam it in there and hammer the fork in

How big is the pitman arm puller you have? Crank that sucker until it breaks free lol

I finally got mad at it tonight and cranked the sucker and BAM, it broke loose with a loud sound
