Front End Pulsing/Thumping
I've search through the posts here, even have a similar one but have not found a solution yet. At around 3000-3500 RPMS, on the highway there is a pulsing or thumping in the front end somewhere. It happens on acceleration/deceleration (no braking); when the engine is under a load. Took it to the shop, suspected axle/cv joint issues or suspension. They could not not find anything wrong with the front end, did a full inspection. The STRANGE thing is that this only seems to happen when it's cold, like below 40 degrees. We could not not recreate the sound for them as it's a bit warmer now. It's my daughter's car, but I took it out a few weeks ago and confirmed the noise.
So with it being temperature related, could it be an engine issue? Fuel delivery; ignition? Anyone ever experience this?
