This is a quote(modified)from an old thread of mine, where i rewired the foglights. they work perfect, as long as the keys are in the ignition i can turn them on/off at will.
"There are a total of 5 wires going into the relay. I cut the two red/yel wires that connect together into a SINGLE pin in the relay, and plugged in the power wire from the cigarrete lighter.
I also grounded the orange wire that goes into the switch, so it's ALWAYS grounded, not only when the brights are NOT on.
It's VERY important to connect together and THEN cap off those two wires that were cut from the relay, otherwise the headlights will not work properly..
The result?
I can control the fogs at will, even when the brights are on or no other lights on whatsoever.....
