Foglight switch wiring problem---Will pay to resolve this dilemma ASAP

I'm sorry but I'm totally fed up with wiring my foglight switch to make it work properly in conjunction with my actual foglights.
I've tried so many combinations of wires that I'm giving up on guessing and leaving it to the PROS. I've gotten another cheap Radioshack lighted switch to work like how it's supposed to but not this stubborn Ignited LED one.

I want this RESOLVED PROPERLY ASAP.

To the first person who can tell me the EXACT wire color/stripe setup that goes to the EXACT spade prong on the switch and make the switch and foglights work properly how it's supposed to, I will pay $20 by Paypal that day I try it and it works. It must NOT be a guessing solution but the GUARANTEE way for it to work PROPERLY.

To recap:

I have a 92 SI, so with the switch harness behind the tweeter with (6) wires (RED/YEL, RED/BLK, RED, RED/GRN, ORN, BLK) and of course the (5) wires that go to the OEM relay that are (3) RED/YEL, (1) BLUE/RED, and (1) RED/GRN.

I have a new Ignited LED toggle switch with (3) spade prongs (Illumination, +, ground).

I have a NEW OEM relay and have a good 15 Amp fuse for the foglights.

On a side note, I am using a new generic HID heavy duty wire harness with relay and 30 Amp fuse (the one www.suvlights.com is selling), which the trigger wire is connected to the POWER wire (RED/GRN) of the foglights, like how it's supposed to be. And just to let you know I'm not using the OEM/JDM foglights for our car, but from another car.

And of course, I don't want the buzzing of the relay.

Please help me get this resolved but at the same time I'm sure other luders can benefit from this information also.

Thanks so much for all your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maybe try an OEM switch .. there's one on Ebay....

the above should answer any questions ... red / red blk is illumination.. if your switch only has 3 prongs (power ,illum, ground) then maybe get a switch that has a separate ground for the illumination.

www.radioshack.com show us the light switch your using if its there.. I"ve seen the switches avail at part stores and they look like they suck.. not sure what to tell you..

if you want to see how the wires work under different conditions ,get a light test or take it to a shop and have them do it and pay more than $20US...

if i were in your situation i'd buy the OEM switch ...call every jdm supplier and ask for the oem swtich for fogs or find one from a different car that has a separate illumination lead.

one thing that does not stand out is the Heavy Duty HID harness... where is that going to be installed? are you using the stock wiring thats split off the signals to actually plug into the fog lights?

oh yea, WHY for the hid harness?

Thanks!

Thanks for the suggestions you guys!!!

I guess I'll abandon the hook up to my Ignited switch and use a JDM or OEM one.

Thanks again for all your suggestions!!!

Oh, I forgot to mention, the HID wire harness is just a heavy duty wire harness to upgrade the stock wiring to accomodate a higher wattage bulb and in general to give you brighter headlights.

i dunno, i dont think there's a thing wrong with having the stock wiring harness myself.. they are fog lights which primary purpose is to see through fog. no need for super brights really ... though i find i can see SO much better with them at night on the highway..

Really though, crack open your fog switch you have ... put a new negative wire off the light .. and use the existing terminals for the actual switch.

the illumination is separate from the relay, but if its the switch im thinkin with 3 terminals, it'll put resistance accross the relay and cause that buzz...

the red and red/blk is pos/neg for illumination light ... the otheres .. i duno, have to trace back for the complete wiring diagram.

the above is from the icelord 4gen manual.. check the faq to download it...

i also have the helms ,if i have some spare time (maybe wednesday) i'll do a full search and tell you what to short and write up in full where you need to put a light bulb to test, and connect 2 pins to complete the crcuit and create the fog light on effect.

shiat , when i get my car back next week i'll know the 2 wires colors that need to be connected and can test myself.
my method, paper clip straightned out , and wires solderd to the ends... put a 12v light bulb between to see for current/relay buzzing while the fogs are on shorted with my existing paper clip..

then we know for sure.
