foglight foglights f#$%in foglights

ok he the prob

i read just about all the thread about foglights but still having trouble find the connector to the foglight switch (the tweeter foglight switch) i did find a brown plug under the dash that has six connecting holes but nothing that pulg into the tweeter foglight switch. i read and read everything when i found a thread that almost help i found out thats the 94- up harness


please help me find the plug to the tweeter fog light switch

If you have a 92-93 the foglight switch harness should be bright green you just have to dig for it in the dash. If you have a 94-96 it's in the center console.

ok time for a update got the foglights in easy found the foglight harness plug .
now here the new prob the fog light wont come on what am i missing .
i got yhe fogs, tweeter switch , brand new h3 bulbs now what am i forgeting to do.
am i going to need a sub harness and a relay

you dont need a sub harness, but you do need a relay.

looks great. Congrats on the install. Just a quick question. Why did you decide to go with the yellow instead of the clear? Nowadays I see more and more yellow ones and fewer clear.

Well, Japan also had the clear ones too. They are just as JDM as the yellow ones. So the whole thing about the yellow fogs doesn't make sense at all.

i went with yellow because i wanted yellow light, also i like the look of the yellow lense onmy car

i also have yellow h1 bulbs for my high beams

well i had blue bulbs b4 it looks good but as for the shine wasnt all that then i switch to yellow bulb look way better and much brighter and as for the fog light lense its clear i think clear look really good

foglights i used sunshine plasma yellow 3000k h3 12 xexon v 100-170 w
highbeam (not turned on) sunshine plasma yellow 3000k h1 12 xexon v 100-170 w
lowbeam i used xenon 5000k xtreme yellow h3 12v 55w-110w

It's probably because clear was offered in the states, and yellow light in its part of the spectrum is proven to penetrate fog best.

I guess some people are trying to be more "JDM" lol.

Yeah I read somewhere that yellow does give better visibility and when I used them in the rain they lit up the road as if I turned on my high's.

Yeah, but Japan had clear fogs also. Wouldn't clear ones be considered JDM as well?
