Fog Switch

Hello. I am really thinking of purchasing some Fog Lights for my car. I just want them to turn on when my low beams are on. Am i required to have switch and relay? The fog lights would come with connecters (duh), and im thinking, "if i connect them with the connectors provided from car, will they turn on when my lights are on?

I tried to search but then couldnt find my exact answer fast. I just want some fellow PO'er to help me out. Thanks!

ok... If you just want them to work when you turn you parking lights on...or your headlights...this is what you do:

wire them to your parking lights or your headlights...you do not need a switch or a relay if you wire them to your parking lights or headlights. simple as that.

if you do not wire in a relay they will draw power from your parking/head lights and you won't get the true brightness/power out of them.

Best to tap a wire that keys the parking lights on and get your power source from the battery.
