fog lights bulb replacement

hey everyone! i was just wondering if i had to take my bumper off to change my fog light bulbs. Right now is the stock bulb and i kinda like it. i was thinking of getting them really white, but i am thinking of going amber corners, signal and fogs. So incase i change them to white or even more yellow, how do i change it? Any easy ways?

take off fog cover , unscrew 4 screws on the fog , and yank it out.

and when it's out, there are 3 small screws (may be rusty, so press hard on the screw driver and loosen very carefully) that hold the panel in which you need to remove to have access to the bulb.
Once the panel is off, you can only pull it back so much be cause the ground wire inside is short, so if you remove the screw that holds it down, up with it comes the small braket that keeps the bulb-holder clipdown, so the bulb will be loose and easy to pull out.
The trouble I had was with removing the bulb and it's wire. There's a clamp clip of some sort which is sheathed in a rubber sleeve close to where the wiring enters the fog casing, you have to fold that back, and what i did was gently pry up the two tabes on the clamp to pull out the bulb wire, but getting them tight enough to hold the new bulb in took some trial and error, and more time than I thought.

as for pulling back the rubber shieth, i just felt around and held it firm at the base and yanked, out came the h3 light...

i figured hell, if it snaps im puttin in a new bulb anyways...

if those 4 screws are rusty and you can't get the fog light assembly out of the bracket then you'll need to take off the bumper and remove the bracket/fog light in order to get good access to the fog light.. you may be able to jack it up a bit and take off the splash guard and front lip but i think it'd be easier to remove the bumper than mess with 40 screws or so.

this is only in a worst case scenario like me where those screws are rusted SOLID.

Well that's one part, the 3 small rusty screw that hold in the back where the bulb can be accessed are a b!tch. There's small enough where it'd be hard to drill them out, so compromising the head is a thing that you must avoid. You can get replacement screws from a hardware store, I forgot the size, but they'll be in the Metric section. Yohan, getting it out by yanking it worked for you, but what about putting the new bulb in, you surely must have had to fold back the rubber sheathe?
