get a 30 amp relay and socket and hook it up like this:

30: 12v
87: nothing
87a: + on the fogs
86: 12v+ from your switch
85: ground

then you just have to ground the fog light's - wire and your set

If you want to bring it to me i will hook it up for you. i am about an hour away from chicago. in northwest indiana. I do have refrences from other prelude owners in Chicago land that will bouch for me.

heres an idea and what I did ...

get a paper clip, electrical tape, and any relay with 4 prongs from the part store.

under your dash, find the plug for the relay ... put the relay in ..

then, find the switch harness and short out (using the paper clip) the 2 wires for the switch.

fogs always go on with headlights, boom bang done.

I took the paper clip and bent it so it is flush with the plug then wrapped in electrical tape. working great.

anywhere between 30-2hrs depending on where you want the switch. or if you just want it wired to the headlights like 30min. if you want a switch in your center councle it will take longer cause i have to take it apart.

Mine are setup the same way (works fine), but I just bought a switch on ebay so I'll be putting that in soon.

reliability. but you might be that off case where it is not an issue.

Its like not putting a little oil on the oil filter gasket before installing.

Use your cruise switch like I did.

Cruise works.

Fogs work.

I'm using the ghetto paperclip switch

Its been fine for over a year and a half. I did the same for someone else when I installed his fogs and they still work

cantdrive55, I like your idea
