Hey,
I used a standard relay on mine. You just need to find on that is normally open and only closes when the coil is energized.
You can use the stock wires under the dash and, guess what, the spade connectors that are inside the plastic thing will fit perfectly onto the terminals of the relay. This mean you won't have to splice any wires. Th plastic connector is easy enough to get off, just use a small screwdriver.
The wires go as follows:
There will be two red/yel connectors. These need to be connected across the coil inputs. I don't think it matters which one goes where.
The Blu/Red wire is the constant 12V source from the fuse box. This goes on one side of the switch terminals.
The Red/Grn wire goes on the other side of the terminal.
That should do ya.
