I'm planning on getting some fogs soon and I was looking for the green harness behind the tweeter. The only piece I found was the green piece stuck behind the dashboard:
That piece seems to be really tightly fit behind the dash; it won't move. Is this the harness for the fogs?
Okay, I see that; I figured as such, just wanted to make sure. It doesn't look like there's anything else back there; where the heck is it, then? Anyone have any idea?
Ah, and for the 92-93 Preludes, the harness was behind the tweeter cover; for 94-96, it was in the center console.
I can't seem to pull on the wires; they're taut and won't budge. I guess I might remove the driver's side dash panel to get a better look? I'll try that tomorrow.
If and when I get the fogs I'll take pics and do a write-up like prelude2005, so we have both the 92-93s and the 94-96 4th gens covered.

it will be down that hole in the bottom of the tweeter area... try removing the tape holding some of the wires together, the fog harness may be taped to something else that is secured in there.
Doesn't 93 has some place in the center console for some switches? I thought only the long console in the back didn't have any place for switches... Though I'm wondering where the seat heater switch goes on these...

I think you're right, those slots are for the seat heaters on the up north models. I am pretty sure the fog harness is still behind the tweeter on the 93's though. The best looking solution here would be to extend the wires from the connecter behind the tweeter, down to the console so you could put the switch in one of those slots. check my post in this thread: http://preludeonline.com/showthread.php?threadid=83467 for details on how I did it.
Alright, I knew my PO.com people wouldn't let me down!!!
This is what that elusive connector looks like, right? 10 pins, just as you all said. It was in that hole with all the wires, all I had to do was find a set of 6 wires that weren't covered in tape, they were behind the mass of wire that was covered in electrical tape.
Now, I see 6 wires going into that connector. I'm gonna follow go pre's method of splicing the wires, except he mentions he only needs 3 of the wires; is that right? What do the other wires do?
Also, while I was digging around for that connector, I removed the lower support pads and found the harness:
I'm gonna ask another stupid question: since I learned I won't have the subharness or the relay, I'm going to connect a generic relay. I saw five wires coming from the harness; go pre mentions only four, is the fifth wire not needed?
Ya i was reading this and got inspired to look for my harness bhind the tweeter cover in my 92 si but to no avial but ill try again tomorrow i think b/c now that i know i need to tug on those wires not covered in tape i think ill be able to find it btw great thread
