this is OT, when i first got my lude, the headgastket was installed wrong, so they gave me an accord to drive, it was automatic. my parents swapped out the cars so i didn't drive it until i had to work on saturday. i went out hoping for 5 speed, it was auto. dammit! i got in it and almost went back to my mom to ask what to put it in cause i was confused by the d4 d3 d2 d1.

but, that does not sound good, is there a CEL? i would reset the ECU if there was NOT a CEL, if it is still flashing after restart, take it to honda......that is what i would do, if no one could tell me anything on here

my D4 flashes, but its because my i went from auto to manual, so the gauge cluster is confused,..... ok that was no help, make sure all your connections to your tranny are connected. sounds electrical

Might be a tranny problem.
