Here is my question/concern whenever i punch it after my car is warm lets say about 30% of the time i get a huge spark out my tail pipe. Sometimes it is enough to light up my rear view mirror. I dont have a cat and i have basic i/h/e with advanced timing. I am leaned out 4% with the vafc and i have an MSD. Does anyone else experiece this issue? Is it something to be concerned about? Thanks
since you did took out the cat....., cus any reciprocating engine has unfinished combustion still comming out the exhaust port.
that's how you detect cracked exhaust manifold on an airplane by the way,
turn the engine on at night and check to see fire around the exhaust manifold..

Yes, that is my 91 Accord Im sure I am running rich, but I had a guy ask to see if my car would shoot flames after I gutted my cat so I richened the fuel curve up @ 7400 to about + 4% (right around my current shift point, and voila) It makes a loud pop and everything behind me lights up.
