Fitted Fujitsubo Exhaust to my 4th Gen

Today I fitted my exhaust, it's a Fujitsubo Legalis R. I reset the ECU after I fitted it, and I'm yet to give it a good test (just hit vtec once on way home from fitting). Anyway it already seems faster, and more responsive than before. The best thing is the noise though - at idle it has a quiet but deep burble, when driving normally it just sounds like it means business without being noisy, and when I hit vtec it sounded amazing. I'd definitely recommend this exhaust. I will post more info tomorrow night after i've given it a bit more of a testing. Here a few pics:

wow what the heck is that marker light doing in your back bumper, I've never seen that before! Is that jdm or something? Glad to hear that you are pleased with your exhaust, that's a touchy subject with me, because if you buy something you don't like, your kinda up sh!t creek.

is it just uk? I didn't mean to imply that it looked bad, it was just different to see there.

Thanks for the comments.

The piping is 60.5mm mandrel bent. The exhaust was noticeably lighter than the standard one.

Don't know where you can buy one from sorry. I'm sure somebdoy else could help you out though - maybe irishpilot?

I've given it a thorough testing now, and I can say that if your looking for good looking, good quality, good performance, tough sounding, not too loud exhaust - get this one!!

Normal driving and highway cruising sounds deeper and tougher than stock, but it's not noisy at all.

When you hit VTEC it sounds amazing - not raspy, not deafening - just perfect (IMHO).

Performance is definitely improved, but obviously I don't know how much difference in HP it's made.

Cheers,

Chris

I can't get a sound-clip at the moment. My camera's movie mode doesn't record sound. I got this clip off the net though. it's 1.82MB quicktime video.

The sound here really doesn't do it justice - mine sounds more 'solid' than that.

Highway speeds (3-4krpm) does not sound very different from stock - just a bit deeper - there's no drone.

Cheers,

Chris

I think it looks nice, am a few months away from buying my catback, my "final" decision was to buy an RS*R Exmag, but now that I've seen the Fujitsubo, I'm not so sure. Gonna try and find out availability and price. It's RS*R's claim that the Exmag is the quietest aftermarket performance exhaust. While that's good, and a lot of people want that, I still want something that gives my car bigger balls, with me? Anyway, I checked out Fujisubo's website, and located a realplayer 1.5 minute sample of a BB6 Type-S Prelude with the Legalis R installed, check it out, sound niiice:

BB6 Prelude SiR Type-S with Legalis R exhaust

lol, btw, don't make fun of the japanese guys talking, they're doing us all a favor by making these sound samples
