First pictures of 4th Gen Style Door Sills

Here are some of the 1st pics of the 4th Gen Style Prelude Door Sills.

It took a little longer than planned at the silkscreen shop b/c they lost the design a couple of times but I think they came out pretty nice.

I'll have a post about actually buying them in the FS section. I just thought you guys might want to see how they turned out.

Gigo
If you're reading this thread your door sill along w/ the 1st set of 4th Gen sills will be coming back to you hopefully by the end of the week.

Well the first batch made were done all in black but I can get them made in blue, red, gray, or something custom if the machine supports it.

The sills overlay the factory sills and are held in place by 3M foam core tape. I'll post some pictures of them on the 5th Gens so you can get an idea.

looks very nice, were you planning on doing some silver on black as well? (instead of black on silver) and can you get pics of the final product on the car?

peace

so you just stick them on over the existing sills? does it stay secure... could I accidentally mess it up if I am not careful getting in the car (dumb question, but making sure).
Thanks

Well I've had them on my car for about 2 months now and no problems. I even made sure not to clean the sills just to test the strength of the tape and I haven't had any problems w/ them as of yet. Unfortunately my car is currently in storage while I'm in NY so they aren't getting tested anymore. I'll have a FS by the end of the night once I have a count of which sills i currently have in stock.

The silkscreen shop said they probably can't do the reverse silkscreen but I may look into other finish techniques if there's interest. I was thinking of getting sills anodized but I don't know if anyone could afford them after that process.
