Finishing Swap

I finally got my car from TN to VA. Now I can work on my car everyday to finish the swap. If anyone would like to help just let me know.

One question, where does the external coil mount to on the engine? I cannot remember/find where it mounts too. Can someone take a picture and post it, or describe it really well?

Thanks

OSOFAST10,
Thanks, i will keep you in mind. all i have left to do is 1> replace axle 2>fill oil 3> fill and bleed brakes 4>hook up exhaust 5> finishing wiring 6> anything else i forgot.
its a bunch of little stuff.

i still got faith that sik96prelude is going to get me a picture of his...

Thanks

my clutch pedal is to the floor. when i pull it up it "pops" up, if i press it down it "pops" down. i think it may be due to the lack of tranny fluid. any suggestions?

Ok I took a few pics but only this one came out right. I will take more tomarrow if this doesn't help to much. What you are looking at is the thermostat housing. It mounts on that.

so let me guess once i add tranny fluid i will have to bleed the clutch? i thought that there was two diffrent places, 1> to add tranny fluid in the tranny and 2> a place to add clutch fluid. i admitt i know nothing about trannys.

You are correct young grasshoper. You add fluid at the master cylinder, and bleed the system at the slave cylinder.

Whoa whoa whoa... There is a place for tranny fluid and a place for clutch fluid.. And you better make sure you got the tranny fluid in there because things coudl get ugly.. Now tranny fluid is simply10w30 oil... The hard part is fillingit up... Theres a 17mm bolt on the passenger side that can be seen through the wheel well... Its hard to ge to and requires a long flexible funnel to do anything abuot... make sure the car is level and add oil until it overfills.. Should be 2.1 quarts... or so.. And, the clutch fluid goes in the resivour.. The smaller one next to the big brake fluid reseviour... And you bleed it through the slave cylinder which is right yb ur radiator fans... Its an 8mm bleeder screw.. I hope u know how to bleed it too.. More of a 2 man job, or a 3 hr one man job...

Does that help ya out?

BTW: Heat just decided to unclog... I guess... cause mofo was hot when I drove it today..

well today i tried to start the car, and it started! i was so happy. it had the rough idle, i think i remember hearing something about it before, so i will do a search!

still got to add all fluids and finish a little bit more.
it sounded great when it started up. i did a little dance.
