I would really appreciate any feedback or comments! Thanks guys!
Nice setup! Especially on the sub box! I have a similar sub box setup in my Civic and it was a PAIN IN THE A$$ to get exactly 0.75 cubic ft out of the space for my JL 10! Is the front of that box just a cover?...or is it part of the box itself?

But pretty neat setup.
Hello Stranger, you need to check o/t for a meet we are going to have in February!
Originally posted by red92s the box is all one piece, made out of fiberglass. To the best of my knowledge, it's about .7 cubic feet before driver displacement.
I apologize for getting off your threads topic.
That is a nice set up you have. Nice placement of the sub.

So what are you planning for that car? I can't imagine. Well, whatever it is, just remember to take the babyseats out.
Hey, I never asked...who bought your Prelude? I just want to know that it went to a good home!
Its completely stock. I hit my best 60 ft. ever, a 2.104, on street tires, I think a 2.0 is even possible.
I plan on getting it a Y-Pipe in January, before the meet. In Maximas a Y-Pipe makes the biggest difference you can get from a bolt on. Some make 20 h.p.
One of the Maxima.org members that ran a 14.8 stock ran a 14.4 with only a Y-Pipe. His m.p.h. went up by almost 4 as well!
I sold the Prelude to a middle age couple, that already owned a Prelude VTEC. They just recently sold it to a 50 something year old guy who was impressed enough to pay more than they did!

I made that one myself. It really wasnt to hard (first enclosure I've ever built). I actually DID build 2 replicas of it to sell to other people. I sold one to "ME" from this board and another to a guy on HP.com. I sold them for $150 shipped. This is a really good price considering Materials are about $50 and shipping $10, so I was only seeing about $90. I was selling them not to make profits, but to gain experience so I can score an installation job this year. . .hence the cheap price. If I get REALLY motivated sometime in the future, I might build some more.
Damn that is really an excellent placement for the sub.
I wonder how the two you sold are doing. You said 0.7 cu ft. before driver displacement? How much space does your IDQ require? How does it sound there?

Your setup is KICKASS
Member "ME" from this board has one, which I believe he is planning on running a MASS Evo in. . .dont think he's gotten around to it though. Using the "packing peanut" method to determine the volume, it's .65-.7 cubic feet (driver displacement is .05 cubic feet), which is basicly ideal for a sealed IDQ10(can have as little as .3 cubic feet). The sound is a really nice reinforcement to rock music. I dont listen to a lot of rap, so I dont care how loud it "slams". Overall, I'm very happy.

I was mainly trying to find a way to retain the pass-through access. The position of the Xtant requires that the chrome cover be removed so I can adjust the gain (the gain control is on the left side of the unit, really close to the end of the amp rack).
