FINALLY upgrading the prelude.

Hello everyone,
So I bought my 1995 4th gen srv about four months ago almost stock other then some eibach lowering springs, a DC sports tsr exhaust, and an intake..(e-bay intake maybe? not sure), and 4 blown stock struts....you could imagine the handling advantages I have.. , anyways I work at Fountain Tire in kamloops BC and priced out some add-ons. I'll be putting on 4 msr 17" wheels, 4 KYB AGX adjustable struts, Brembo slotted rotors front and rear, and 4 Fierce UHP tires all installed for around 1900$ taxes in (CND)

Just wanted to know if you guys think I should be replacing the springs with something better. And what does everyone think of the KYB adjustables?

Also has anybody tried the Fierce UHP's? Its a branch of goodyear
Fierce™ performance tires - Homepage

Anyways very excited to add to the car! Just thought I'd share with some people who might give a crap

Thanks!

I would just recommend brembo blanks and not the slotted.

I have always heard good things about eibach springs...if you are happy with the ride height then I don't see a reason to change them.

I think most will recommend koni struts over the cheaper agx's, but I would imagine the kyb's are up to the task for most daily drivers.

I would have to agree with peter on the brakes. The drilled/slotted rotors are more of a gimmick than anything else. I also didn't even think that brembo made drilled or slotted rotors for the rears.

Are the fierce tires summer or all season tires? If they are summer tires, be aware that they may not last as long as some good high performance all season tires. I have been using yokohama avid V4s all season tires for almost three years and they still have life left compared to the yokohama avs es100's which may have only lasted 18 months.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. I won't be doing much auto-x or racing so I think the kyb agx should do the trick. And the fierce tires are summers but I get them for 400 for the set so I get tires pretty cheap working at a tire shop.

I also vouch for KYB AGXs. Made a pretty signinficant difference in handling on the street. Track, I would go for something a bit more tolerant to high spring rates

so what springs would most of you use with the kyb's?
The eibach springs I have on now are just way too low, I can hardly drive ANYWHERE in the street. I scrape over every speedbump and coming out of every parking lot, drives me insane.

the majority use ground control coilovers. I use skunk2, but it has one helluva stiff ride.
