Finally installed my JDM fogs

Purchased a clean set of Yellow fogs from ProjectPrelude a few weeks ago and just installed them last weekend. Thanks man, everyone loves them!
Sorry for the poor quality, took these with my camera phone.

I keep hearing of people talking about switches this and switches that...well here's my paper clip FTW!! They just come on with my headlights, which I tend to always have on anyways. Broken cup holder lid, bah! (Don't hate for it being an Automatic, gotta make sacrifices when the car had such low miles and is super clean and being sold at a dealership a block from your house)

And...how they look on my Pacific Blue Peal lude----

I used this manual to install them, fairly straight forward, but since I took my time it took me a few hours to do it right:

Accessories Installation Instructions

Which two wires are the paper clip touching in the harness?
I've tried this a billion times, nothing seems to work.
I have a new relay, everything is wired correctly, all fuses are intact.. I can't seem to get this done.
Anyone in the Raleigh NC area wanna meet up and gimme a hand?
I swear I'm not retarded! :-p

hahaha, glad you found the problem. That install guide was quite helpful. Are you using a paper clip as well?

I remember when I searched for switches people mentioned using a paper clip but no one mentioned which two you tap into. I'll make a nice little diagram when I'm done with class, in case anyone else needs to know.

Naw, I'm using a stock switch that cam with my old fog harness assy. for autozone fogs.
Just cut a hole in the accessory hole cover where the foglight switch should go, and mounted the switch in there so i can turn it off and on..
Next up: Turning fogs on with running lights...

Am I the only one who hates the fact that JDM fogs are yellow, it completely kills my desire for them. Do they really look good when on driving, or for appearence? I've never seen a set on a car.

Most tend to have white, hyper white, or some sort of shade of blue for headlights and even with projectors, other drivers sometimes see shades of blue, the yellow of the JDM lights is a great contrast to the headlights. Having fogs and headlights be the same color kind of defeats the purpose of the fogs. Besides, yellow cuts through fog better than white. Not to mention they're a tad bit more rare than the clear ones.
