That's how my hood fit when I first put it on too. To fix this I just rested something heavy (with a towel underneath) on the sides of the hood overnight. It also helps a little if the hood is warm because when it gets cold it tends to contract and cause the sides to rise. Hope this helps...

there are two little rubber bumps on each side of the radiator support, you can lower and raise that by turn it like a screw, that's how i got mines to sit perfectly...

did u get the invader or OEM style?

What weather stripping are you talking about? the window or the hood one? if its the hood one, i just bought a whole new stripping from honda since the one on the old hood wouldn't come off cleanly with the plastic pieces...

I pick mine up from Jordan_4WS on the 16th... I went and checked it out today after work. On my way to his house I saw a red 4th gen with a CF hood and he gave me the thumbs up, and that pretty much sold me on the CF hood (it looked so good). So yeah, in a little over a week I will be part of the CF hood club.

lowered the hood.. those rubber things don't do anything do they?? what you gotta do it losen the whole hood latch bracket which has 3 10mm bolts.. then push it down so the hood rests lower when its closed..worked pretty well right side is very tight and is flush with rest of car, left side is close... mayb i do need to turn those rubbber things??

pics tommorw...

BTW........ DO I NEED TO PUT WEATHER STRIPPING ON NEW HOOD OR DOES IT NOT MATTER?

also the stripping i was talking thats leaking is on my roof/windshield and it comes up a lil bit and leakes some water...

neways got my jdm 1 pieces today.... tips?

He was selling it for his friend who is out of town. I went over today after work... needs a good buff job, but all in all it is excellent quality. I also saw his nice new wheels (Volk TE-37's..yumm).

I like your wheels too

AFAIK, the rubber things will help lower your hood on the sides. If your hood is too high in the front (not flush), then you have to adjust your hood latch.

And the weatherstripping is recommended.

What if your hood does not have the holes for the weatherstripping? I bought mine used, so it does not have the holes, at least I did not see them. Also, where do I buy locking hood pins? Thanks.
