like it says i finally got my car back with it's new motor. it's a JDM F22B and i love it. i still haven't been able to punch it or drive it hard but so far it is great. it drives smooth, and sounds soooo nice. but i do have one problem. when i'm at a stop light or not in gear my rpm jump. like it'll go from 1000 rpms to 1300 or 1400 rpms. is this normal when you put in a JDM swap into a USDM car? and is there any way to fix it?
how much horse does it have? as far as the idle jump one of the many things it could be is an air idle control valve....but thats only if theres high mileage so i doubt it.
They have 160ps (~157hp). Funnily they have the same HP as the JDM B20A..
huh? jdm b20a is like 135 hp... anyway yes this does seem to be common to jdm swaps...there is a thread about it right now. on this very forum, check it out

i read soem of the threads but they all seem to be about h22 and they all seen to have one thing in common--> none of them can fix it, it's like 1 out of every 10 people fix it. so i think i'm just gonna deal with it. it really doesn't bother me or anything.
padge--> i don't know cause i need to break in my clutch and my new clutch. but once that is on i will let everyone know. but from what i hear it's the same.

The 160ps is for the 2nd Gen B20A (my booboo), the 3rd Gen B20A is 145ps ~ 142hp.
