Finally got my fog lights working. *details & pics*

I tore my front bumper off today. Got to snooping around and decided to buy some new bulbs just to see if it would work. Tomorrow will be 3 months to the day that I got my fogs on. Now they work

Turns out it was the bulbs. So I have to send my bulbs back to the place I got them(they match all my other lights.)
Turned them on and my first words......

"HOLY ****!"

it's safe to say I like em alot I didn't expect this much.

Here are some pics. Sorry I suck at night pics.

You should have seen this pig fly down the street with no front bumper

There is still something wrong with my switch. It doesn't work and I didn't have the time to tear it apart today and look at it. It will not pass a current. At all.

Yup, fog lights rule...

I still have stock white turn signal bulbs in my clear turn signals... I'm considering getting to match, as well...

Which fog switch do you have?

It's out of a 5G. I know the switch doesn't work. I hooked up a little circuit to a extra 9005 bulb I had. Wouldn't turn on. So I have a cheapo oreillys part store generic switch. I think it was 99 cents. It's stuffed behind the tweeter cover until I get a different switch for mine. I will just leave them on all the time for now.

Nice tires too. I just bought a second set of those Kumhos 711. they rock, they're very sticky and the price is great!

Thanks. Bulbs are just a cheap 4.50 bulb from the local auto store. I had the same bulbs to match the rest of mine but they didn't work

They are really bright

what size bulb are you running H3?

I want yellow bulbs for my fogs but the PIAA's are waaaaay over priced. Anyone have any cheaper suggestions?

Thank you Mark

O - I am using H3 bulbs. I agree that the PIAA's are very expensive. Here is a thread I remembered. I guess you could paint the lenses any size.

Want Yellow/Amber JDM/OEM fogs?

i just put in some h3 super plasma's right now...just need to wait to see how they'll look tonight. what kinda headlight bulbs are you using? i'm guessing piaa? nice how all your lights match up cept for the fogs, and even those don't look far off. your fogs are just regular 55w halogens from the auto store??!

I use a product by Toucan. They are Eurolite Zenon Fusion. Every light possible has been replaced with them. The headlights have lasted me forever. I bought the H3 for my fogs but they never worked. The H3 set I bought said they were "baja tough" so now I can take my lude 4 wheelin.

If you are local to San Diego, I have mass hook ups on PIAA lights. My PIAA Yellow Ion H3s cost me about $38 for both. Lol, I even have two sets of PIAAs in my dome and map light cause they are cheap.
