Probably because the car is jacked up and the wheel is just sitting up against the hub, not mounted to it.

Beleive it or not .... you are right. Megan racing parts are very well made and very well researched and tuned. The header actually seems to be slightly better than a DC for 1/2 the price for the stainless. I like megan a bunch, too bad I cant run any of their parts!

Yeah...they've got a pretty nice website. I may try one of their products out sometime. At first I just thought they were tryin to be a Mugen knockoff but it seems they're isht might actually be worthwhile.

I totally agree. Definately worthwhile. I think people are just stuck in the name recognition thing of DC and mugen which you can call "overpriced" and "way overpriced" respectively. Anyway, good purchase man. I have seen the Megan header on several cars and it looks great. How's the preformance?

^^^ lol nothing to be proud about with DC. And the megan may "look great" but the primary function of an exhaust header is to direct the flow of exhaust. I'm not staking claims, so when someone posts a dyno with one on, we'll see, and I'll just save my "I told you so" in case i get to use it then.

btw garn, looks good, JDM and USDM VTEC calipers are the same, right? Did you have to struggle a bit getting your neuspeed bar on as well?

Hey, yea JDM and USDM are same size and everything as far as i know.. The megan no doubt was an improvement for my stock cast iron H23 header lol.. I can def. feel an increase, but no dyno around my area unfortunately..

I did struggle gettin that damn bar on, had to put the passenger side on loosely, then the front drivers side i had to force on, then i used leverage against a wall with my foot to fit the back drivers side bolt/hole to line up.. finally got it! had to have the car on the tires to..

any trouble losing the upper control arm bolt when you took the nut off and tried to fit the bar over it?

haha yea you mean through the hole? yea i pushed it down through there a few times, sucked, but I just raised the car slightly and wedged it back in there then put the nut back on without fitting the bar, tightened it to bring it all the way up through the hole again, then took the nut off making sure not to put any downward pressure on it.. finally got it..

another question, when you painted your rotor hubs, did you just tape off the rest of the rotor or let your pads clean em up after the fact? If the former, that's a damn circular tape job lol.

well I did that on the front rotors, kinda roughly taped them off, but also coated the rotor surface with wd40 to keep the paint from sticking, then used brake cleaner to clean off any wd40/paint with a rag.. but it was to much so for the rear i just let it overspray on the surface a little and let the pads do the work, which worked just as well/better..

Back to the Header, I just purchased Megan header but have problems with it. There is a leak and after all the trouble shooting it turns out the leak is probably coming form the flex pipe. How long have you had your header?
