field vtec controller hitting rev limiter help
I just installed a field vtec controller and having one problem. Everything works fine no engine check lights, rpm readout is correct as is the km/h. My vtec kicks in at 4900 rpm where i set it at and my fuel settings of -4% until 5k and 0s the rest of the way seem to be working also. My problem is that i have my rev limiter set at 7700 rpm and my car is hitting rev limiter at 6600 rpm. I used the h2 instructions off of vtec.net and all my wiring is good. Perhaps are the din switches on the back not set right? I have mine set at 1off,2on,3off,4on,5off,6off,7off,8on. Please anyone with a 4th gen or knowlede of the field help.
