Few questions..

I have a whistling when I have my foot on the gas at a certain pressure. When I let up on the pressure or add more, it goes away. I was told it might be a tranny bearing, and I was wondering if someone else had this problem and could let me know?

Also, i dont know if this is dumb, but I wanted to make my 1996 Prelude S into power locks and have an alarm. Is this possible? And if so, is it something I could do? (Im a newbie). Any links or info for help on this would be awesome. Thanks a lot.

you have 38 views w/ no responces which is about where im at in my bid to figure out whats up with my tranny (frustrating lol) so ill see if i can shed some light. first off i would really have to say that if its at a certain amount of gas applied and not engine speed then its more than likely a vacuum leak. not sure on that..but I am certain you can add the power windows. youll just have to get the regulators, motors, relays, switches etc.. its all out there youll just have to be patient. the alarm is definitely possible. people get aftermarket ones all the time so im sure it would be ok to put in the OEM one. hope all this helps. good luck man

thanks. I was told it might be the CAI i have, and Im switching back to stock anyways so when I do that I'll let you know. And yeah I just dont know where to find everything, and what everything is. I know theres a few stock power lock control modules on ebay for 25. so I might get those.

i just re read that. i was thinking you said windows.. well the locks will be much easier to do. ill see if i can find a page in the manual telling you what all parts are involved then you can just ebay it up. and the CAI would definitely make some strange noises over the stock one. if its in good shape you should still keep it or sell it to me
