fast idle valve?

Hey 92 prelude SR here...

when car starts up the idle jumps from 1,500-2,500 continously...

and even when the engine is warm it jumps from 1,000-1,800rpm

Im thinking its the fast idle... how about you guys?

I've heard this is a common prob for h23 4th gen preludes

It could be, but also you might have a vacuum leak somewhere.
Meaning you are getting more air at idle than necessary causing the idle to go up and the computer is trying to bring the idle down.
