Fast idle after swap. Any suggestions?

I just swapped in my new JDM H22 yesterday and everything is fine except for the idle is at 2100 rpms steady. I also did the coolant bypass and blocked off the fast idle solenoid as per the Hondata instructions for the IM gasket I installed. Didn't know if this may be the problem. I bled the cooling system and tried to adjust the idle and its down all the way. I also checked all the vacuum lines. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Ok, did you adjust the idle correctly? If not, go here:

Idle

If you didn't adjust the idle the way I've outlined, you won't see any change in idle speed. If you already did that, then you need to start checking the idle control valves. By the way, did you get your other idling problem solved? Did the bleeding work?

^^^I think you're thinking about the other guy that had the idleing problem (surging), I just responded to his thread telling him that I had it too, but it eventually went away. However, I did bleed the system last night on the new engine just like you said and it worked great. Thanks. I have the Helms and I'll try the idle adjustment, but I don't think thats the problem. The intake, TB, and everything else is off my old engine and it worked fine then. I guess we'll see. I'll try it this evening. I still feel like it has something to do with the bypass I did. Thanks.
