Factory speaker dimensions, add any info you have
Ok, I have now measured the factory speakers and brackets with my calipers.
For the record I have a 96 S. I am told all in 4th gen are the same, YMMV.
I am fairly certain that what I am measuring are the original factory speakers, because they have the Honda factory connector on them.
Here is the info. Some of the trailing decimal places are probably meaningless.
Rear deck speakers:
Very outermost diameter of the metal speaker basket -- 6.2"
I.D. of the hole in the plastic mounting bracket, AKA cutout diameter -- 4.917"(124.9mm)
Mounting depth of speaker (NOT available depth, which is probably more) -- 1.81"(46mm)
Diameter of the bolt circle, I assume is the same as the front
Door Speakers:
I.D. of the hole in the plastic mounting bracket, AKA cutout diameter -- 4.966"(126.2mm)
Diameter of the bolt circle -- 5.485"(139.3mm)
