factory alarm

does anyone have a factory alarm on their 4th gen
after installin a new alarm my factory alarm kicked in and now
i have to press a button under my dash to turn it off

anyone know how to disabled it?

so you didn't remove your factory alarm when you installed your new alarm?

no i didnt even know it existed

is there a way to disable the fatory alarm??

if i take out under hood fuse ( clock )
the factory alarm is gone but the problem is when i triger my new alarm the lights dont flash

lights only flash when factory alarm trigers which is after closing the door ( 10 sec after )

anyone plz help

why don't you just remove the factory alarm? I suppose you could follow the directions on hondaautomotiveparts.com's site, only backwards.

did the 4th gens actually come with factory alarms ? mine didnt, when i baught it, it had some viper alarms, that talked all the damn time, but i got timre of ti, so i removed it, and put a new python on it.

no 4th gen "came" with one, per se, but it was a factory option, much like the spoiler, nose mask etc.

I'm not that special, all talk is me. Let us know how the uninstall goes, and if your problems are solved. Don't forget, what with so many people wanting to stick to "OEM", if you can successfully remove all the parts that make up the OEM alarm system, you can get some money back by selling it.
