F22B Timing belt install

1993 Prelude - attempting to install 95132 Dayco timing belt (dodge caravan). It is very tight and hours of unsuccessful attempts - any one had this issue with the belt being extremely difficult to get on? Any tips?
I searched didnt find any tips on getting it to go on/

Are you seriously trying to put a timing belt for a dodge caravan on a single cam honda engine?

Really? F22B is a DOHC JDM engine and the H23 stock belt fits loose etc etc... please do a search for F22B. Dodge + Honda mix match parts is the only way to go same way they came from Japan.

thats the belt im using right now and it went right on. lock the cams in place (with TDC arrows facing UP), make sure your tensioner bolt is somewhat loose and the bolt that holds the tensioner to the block is loose. wrap whatever you can of the belt through the timing assembly correctly. turn the crankshaft clockwise and it should give you enough slack to slide it on. it did for me.
