My prelude is getting new struts and H&R's so I am borrowing a 93 Accord,F22. The fast idle control valve on the accord has been diagnosed as "bad". When it is raining the car will not start, at all. I need suggestions because the day I need to drive back and get my lude, it is supposed to rain. I can not get stranded up here, two weeks of this on again off again starting is enough. Hmm......sounds like an ignition problem. Now when you say it won't start at all? You mean it cranks but it just won't turn over right? If so, how long has it been since you changed your ignition wires? Sounds like when its too wet outside your leaking too much current from the wires causing you not to start.

I suggest getting your spark plugs changes, get a new set of spark plug wires, and get urself a new distributor cap and rotor. If you haven't done that already that is. That is what I would try first. Good luck.
