I lost the AC. Although I probably could have installed it without losing it. I bent a line too far making room for the intercooler piping and caused a leak. I have since fixed that problem.
It's definitely a chore to make it all fit. I didn't do anything to the throttle body. I did a few hacks to make stuff work the way I wanted. I had to put a large check valve on the MAP sensor to bypass boost conditions to keep the ECU from losing it's marbles.
I also filled the check valve with silicone in the pop off valve to be more consistant and open more reliably.
Wastegates were allot of fun. No matter what the manufacturer said the spring was rated for it was usually BS. The final wastegate and probably the best one I have ever worked with was an egay find. Although again the spring was suppose to rated at 7 and it would crack at 11. This one I heated with a propane torch a few times to relieve tension and finally got it to crack at 4. The kewl thing about this gate was that it was adjustable. So I could always crank the bolt down to increase the spring tension. However just beyond 4.5 and you will start to hear some ping. I had an FMU, but max pressure on the stock pump is about 65 so it didn't really help. The only real problem with this gate is it's size. If you noticed in the picture it only slightly shorter than the Sears building in Chicago. I had to lower the motor mounts and create a solid front mount to replace the torque damper just to keep it from hitting the hood.
It's a bunch of fun, let me tell ya.
