F22 Performance?

New here, have a 92 Prelude S with a 5spd. Its a 4cyl racecar and i'm just looking for a few tips on getting more power out of it, ran it a few times last year and it handled awesome, just a little lacking on the other vtec accords and twin cam saturns. Also wanted to know if the factory header off the accord ex's will fit around the subframe. Any other tips like throttle body or any factory parts that will fit would be great. No CAIs, or non-factory headers are the rules. And i know my best thing would be a swap but id rather not waste money on a swap to win $100. Thanks.

Turbo or h22 swap depending which way you want to go.

HP on the cheap...nitrous.

Swapping in another factory accord header isn't going to help.

Id love to swap in an h22, but its a strickly stock 4 cylinder stock car class. I do have my eye on a 93 Si as a road car for myself, gotta find the cash. So dont bother with the accord header, keep the cast manifold on it now, right?

Yeah, pretty much. So I don't understand if you can swap in an OEM header from an accord, what makes it where you can't swap out an OEM engine offered in the car?

I mean unless they are a prelude enthusiant, they wouldn't know.

Our track, and most of the local tracks, are SOHC only, and i wouldnt want to wast time and money, and a good motor to use in a class where max you can win is $100.
