f22 to h23, wont start
Hey all, new here, and im not that familiar with hondas/jap cars so bare with me.
I totaled my 92 si automatic 4 years ago and yanked the engine and let it sit in my garage. Found a clean 94 SH automatic with a blown f22 motor. Me and a buddy swapped it out with the wiring harness that was in the SH and hooked it up. Replaced the spark plugs/wires as well.
Went to start it, it cranked but wouldnt turn over. Checked the fuel pump and it wasnt getting power. Checked the main relay and it was reading fine. So I connected the 5 wire to the 7 wire and it was getting power and working. I left it like that and tried to start it again. Wouldnt turn over still, but fuel pump was working.
Checked the injectors and it wasnt getting any power running through the relay at all. Replaced it with a junkyard one i found, still nothing.
My buddy checked for spark and I was getting plenty.
I know that if the fuel pump doesnt work when you turn the key its the relay, but if I get power after wiring like i did, would the relay effect the fuel injectors and completely cut it off like it did to the pump?
