F22>H22A & Auto>Man. swap from front clip, possible?

I'm getting a front clip for a really really good price & I want to convert the lude from Auto to Man. Considering that the front clip is a Rhd... will I be able to use the shift linkage & all the other parts I will need to covert it from Auto to Man.?? I read some where about one of the tranny mounts not lining up right (did a search, couldn't find)? & I'm assuming the the motor mounts will just fall into place?

advice needed.. thanks!

you shouldn't have a problem with it since the tranny is in the same spot as USDM trannies... with that said, the shifting is exactly the same for both, so the shift linkage is fine. get ready to drill another hole for the clutch though, i hear thats the most annoying part of a auto>manual swap.

Why would I need to drill a whole... it should already be there... just covered right? I'm keeping the lude as a Lhd lude... not sure if you're think I'm ganna swap it to rhd?
What about the hard line that goes from the Slave master cyl. that runs to the slave on the tranny. The usdm master is on the right side of the engine bay... which a much longer/greater distance. The master cylinder is acctuated by the clutch pedal so it needs to sit in front of the clutch therefore the JDM line will not work. Can anyone comfirm this??

Any here every done a done a motor & Auto>Man. swap from a JDM front clip?

My car was swapped from auto to a manual h22 using a jdm front clip. Just about everything should work. Like you mentioned you will need to run that hard line. I"m not too sure what else was involved because I didn't do it my self. Have faith it can be done..

You got your words kinda mixed up there, there's no slave master cyl, just a master cylinder on the firewall and the slave on the transmission. Also, the USDM master cyl. would be on the LEFT side (LHD cars have the steering on the left side I know it's a tough call when you're facing the car staring at the engine, but we might as well be on one standard).

Yeah, you'll need the clutch hard line from/for a usdm manual ... ya know, I shared many pm's with a member here regarding fitting the hardline in, I can't remember his handle and I don't have any of those PMs anymore, but apparently his went in with minimal parts removal. I'm not sure if Lucke is right nor not, it seems that all the bodies would be stamped the same, and the holes from usdm parts would just be plugged, but he may be right, it's not something you can't check
