how many people have actually dont this swap? Where did u get the jdm h22 and tranny? I know different places vary and I am definitly no "car/engine know it all" but can anyone give me a rough figure of how much it costs for all parts, labor, engine, tranny, ect....

thinking about this or a new 5g... havent decided which to go with..

just an estimate..most shops will charge about 1k for a straightforard swap....and this is not so straight forward.

The swap I'm helping with right now was an F22 to JDm h22 ordeal and the shop he bought the motor from wanted to charge him $2200. I guess it depends where you are too..I'm sure in cali he could get it done for $600. Not too many places here in the NE

but this guy is swapping auto to manual, he's also gonna wanna swap in vtec rotors and calipers if he'd like to be able to stop.the funds will add up very quick trust me. This is not a simple swap and go ordeal.

there is this honda tek around here that i know of that works at an independant shop that services hondas and acuras. This one kid i talked to put a B16 in his 4 door civic dx and also swapped out the dx 5speed for a gsr 5speed tranny. the labor and parts he said cost him 850. Do you think i t would be fore for a f22 to h22 auto to manual swap?

thanks
