F!#$ing Nightmare!!!!!

I HAVE A 96 SI AND I BOUGHT A 95 JDM H22A, THINKING IT WOULD WORK, BUT I CAN'T SEEM TO GET IT TO WORK.
because some of the plugs fit but the wires that come from the engine and going into the harnesses are different colors onthe harnesses coming from the firewall.

Has anyone done a 92-95 jdm h22a swap into a 96 si????
or does ANYONE know how i can make this work, however i have to i gues. and i was wondering could i use a complete 95 harness and rewire the car, or will most of the harnesses not plug up and work?

they're different because the '95 uses obd1 white the '96 uses obd2. there should be more info about this using faq and search functions. good luck for whatever happens to u and ur car

theres more to an engine swap than just "thinking it would work".

He is right man, you need to get a OBD1 ECU and wiring harness if you ever want the thing to run right!
