Extra Money

After blowing my H23 engine, i am ordering another 1, from the money i have i will have roughly 600 left over to do with what i please. For the amount of money i will have left over, does anyone know how i can get the absolute most HP for my money without going NOS, bearing in mind that i already have I/H/E

What kind of engine are you getting? If you're getting an h22 a set of crower cams would be a wise investment. Cams have some of the biggest hp gains of all non nos/fi mods.

If you are sticking with the h23, which now as I read your post again it looks like you are, you could still get a set of gude cams. I just don't know about the quality of gude in comparison to crower though. Header ($300) will also give you a decent amount of hp.

As i explained i already have headers, intake and exhaust, i was thinking of cam gears or cams and bringing out dual exhaust b/c my lude already sounds vicious with the single RACTIVE muffler i have on there now, i want it to scare away small animals 10 miles away, but still be able to perform when i want to stomp a camaro

Didn't see the header part, my bad. If you are thinking you'll get hp gains off a dual exhaust and a 4 banger think again. I went through this a few weeks ago and everybody told me I would actually lose power. Go for something like cams, cam gears, pulleys, etc... You'll be alot happier.

if i lose 2 or 3 HP from duals it would be worth the look on my lude, besides, i am probably going w/11:5:1 compression pistons, adjustable cam gears and the dual exhaust

Ludes are not like civics, if we lose 2 or 3 engine HP, who cares, we have plenty to spare, we don't have to fight and grab for every little bit of HP, bigger engines and displacement allow us advatanges to the civics, integras, etc. only exception would be the S2000. Anyone have any other suggestions?

I suggest that you put all of your money into mods that will give you power, not lose it. I already hand your ass to you every time we race since it looks like you are going with the cheaper engine that you were talking to me about, keep in mind that you have to replace the timing belt, water pump, etc. whenever you get the engine. With the money left over after that make sure you get an oil pressure gauge so you don't let your oil level drop so low that you spin a bearing on your engine again. If you have the money, high compression pistons w/ a means of retarding timing to prevent detonation would be good.

Thank you for the dim look into reality, as if everyone did not know that you hand me my ass you just went worldwide with it. I am getting kinda tired of my lude looking ordinary, perhaps some cosmetic upgrades would be in order
