Does anyone know if the centre section of the exhaust of the 4th gen is the same on all models?

The section in question runs from just after the 'cat' to the flange of the silencer box.

Also, since my lude is a JDM VTEC does this affect it? I have been told that only Honda make the VTEC centre piece but that sounds like bull**** to me.

I replied to your mail, but thought I'd add that if only Honda sell it then consider getting one made. But what you really want is an aftermarket system....

are you asking about from after the cat to the muffler? If so...yeh the piping should all be the same. The only difference i know of is that the flanges on the cat are different between the vtec and si models.

Well, after struggling to find any performance exhausts here in the UK for the 4th gen VTEC (apparently only Janspeed made one but they've gone now), I've found a place that makes custom stainless systems

called TopGear in Burnley.

But if anyone knows where I can get hold of import systems (Greddy, HKS, Powerflow, Neuspeed etc...) in the UK please let me know, but soon 'cos I'm gettin' it made on Monday...yippee!
