exhaust shield for WW RS rear kit (pics)

I don't know if I like it yet, but I think it is slowly growing on me.

I wanted it molded flush with the kit, but I couldn't get it to bend that well. Sheet metal wasn't all that flexible. I might just have a body shop redo it once I get a paint job.

Looks ok from where I'm standing. Only thing I might have tried would have been to try to cut the section out in more of an arc, but maybe it just ain't possible! Otherwise, it's certainly not not a bad effort.

Why didn't you try lowering and extending the exhaust itself? Does the Greddy already hang too low?

He has the PE and the can is pretty big. But it looks like he cut the wwlip to fit the exhaust already.

Ooo I like the idea... IMO if I was runnin from behind... that would give it a more aggressive look... especially if its at nighttime =p

The problem was the greddy PE was burning up my rear lip. So I had to start cutting it away because the paint started to crack and get nasty.

any far-away distance pic? I think the chrome piece might be too noticible..
Thought about painting it?

more picssssss yahhh... Might be too noticable ? so what... unless you are implying it would be too noticable as from an eye sore perspective... I think it would look mean though hehe... but aside from the cosmetic stand point... to protect paint/lip is a better cost conscience idea. i like i like. If he painted it... I believe he'd have the same problem of paint fading on the crome piece anyway. Unpainted though, the heat might give it a nice sweet "header" glow haha.. =p

take pics of it when its all heated up, have you seen if it does anything? distance shots also!
