Hi, guys and gals! Why is everything so expensive? I'm so jealous of all you people in America. The mods you have available to you are SO cheap, compared with what we can get here in the UK.
I'd like to get a fast flowing, nice sounding exhaust system for my car. The one I
really want is the Fujitsubo header plus cat-back. But that's £620 (header) + £551 (exhaust) = $1,653! No way can I spend that much money on an exhaust (or anything else!).
The alternative I've been considering is this: GReddy header ($390) + Random Technology high-flow cat ($210) + custom exhaust (£250). Total = $953 + all shipping from the US. (I'd need the RT cat, because the JDM cat is wider than the American cat.)
As a variation on this, I could replace the custom exhaust with one from the US. (I've seen some deals on A'PEXi stuff recently.) But! would an American exhaust fit on a Japanese Prelude? I've heard that the floor pan is different; the exhaust has bends in different places. Whether this is true or not, I don't know.
Oh well. If any of you has any bright ideas about what I should do, let me know.
