EXHAUST and INTAKE

i have a 92 prelude with a 2.3 engine.
i have a friend who is parting out his 95 eclipse gs. he was two things i want from it but im not sure i can put it on my car.
he has a short ram intake i believe, and a 3A n1 "bomb" muffler, which im pretty sure i can put it on my car.
the muffler is pretty much universal, but does that mean i can still put it on my car?
what about the intake?.
im going to get the parts tomorrow.
o yeah also quick question how much should it cost to put them both on my car???

The muffler you can just weld on..probably $30 - $40 at most

The intake depends on how it bends. Idk eclipse that well so I cant tell you. Just pop your hood and test fit it, itl only take like 2min. and a screwdriver

dont put one of those loud annoying ricer exhausts on your car, you should be able to put the intake on yourself if it fits correctly and no it wont mess up your car.

Any more tuning savvy member feel free to correct me...

To my knowledge a short ram intake will do nothing to improve the performance of your car. It may in fact act to its detriment. As a short ram takes air from right above the engine and transmission and is basically going to take in much warmer air than the stock intake or a cold air intake.

Just something to consider...

^not really, a decent SRI can still make some power or add a little power here and there.

I have a 97 Eclipse and a 93 Prelude and the Intake runs on the opposite side of the engine. It may work if it can be mirrored to the passenger side. im also not sure if the eclipse has the vacuum line thats supposed to be near the top of the intake. Not completly sure though.
